Wall Repairing

Wall damage can occur due to dampness, ageing plaster, moisture penetration or surface deterioration. Proper wall repair involves identifying the affected area, removing damaged material, preparing the surface and applying suitable repair and waterproofing materials for a durable finish.

Wall Dampness

Dampness can cause paint peeling, plaster damage, stains and deterioration of the wall surface. The affected area should be inspected to identify the source of moisture before starting the repair. Proper treatment helps prevent further damage and prepares the wall for restoration.

Removal of Old Plastering

Damaged and loose plaster should be carefully removed to expose a stable surface underneath. This allows the wall to be properly inspected and prepared before applying new repair materials. Removing deteriorated plaster also helps ensure better adhesion of the new plaster layer.

Cleaning the Surface

After removing the damaged plaster, the wall surface should be thoroughly cleaned to remove dust, loose particles and other unwanted material. A clean and stable surface provides a suitable base for subsequent repair, waterproofing and plastering work.

Fixing Glass Fiber Mesh and applying Waterproofing Compound

Glass fiber mesh can be fixed over the prepared surface to reinforce the repaired area and reduce the possibility of surface cracking. A suitable waterproofing compound is then applied to help protect the wall from moisture penetration and improve the durability of the repair.

Plastering along with Glass Fiber

A new plaster layer is applied over the prepared and reinforced surface to restore the wall. Glass fiber reinforcement helps provide additional support to the plaster and improves the overall strength and stability of the repaired area.

Finishing Surface

The repaired wall is finished with a smooth and even surface suitable for further finishing work. Proper finishing improves the appearance of the wall while providing a clean base for painting or other final surface treatments.
